Thanks for posting Jim... looks like the Ferrari is 83 or 84
Always enjoy articles on my 2 favorite 80's icons...
The comparisons are always interesting as they're comparing apples to oranges really...
The 930 is a beast.. need I say more? The hot Italian can fool you.. as they're actually great highway cars, geard tall, and really begin to come on in 3rd gear as you roll-up on the cams to the 8k redline. Very comforatable anywhere over 100mph

Cant wait to read it. I have an 89 and an 84qv...and yes apples and oranges. 930 is fast as hell, but the 308 is just plain fun to drive and rewarding. Stats mean nothing when comparing the 2 cars.

1986: $63,370
1987: $70,600
1988: $77,350 early 88 before wheel/suspension change, 88.5 $78,500
1989: $84,780
Top Speed is between 153 mph and 156 mph depending on testing.
Both are great cars. I have an 89 328GTS (purchased new after trading an '87 911 Turbo Coupe toward it). I'd love to get another Turbo in the future if garage space and $ allow for it.
Best regards,
Dino

I have always considered the Ferrari to be a work of art, and driving around in one make me feel like driving a piece of art.
Compared to the Porsche the Ferrari is more exotic and more eyecandy, but the Porsche is still so superior in almost everyway.
