From what I could see it looked nice....but you might tell the gal taking the video that I got seasick trying to watch it. There was a nice segment on cleaning the gas cap.... Other than being a bit fascetious, it looks like a keeper....nice find.

You should really use some PH balanced cleaner for the leather like Leatherique Rejuvenator and Prestine Clean. And get some microfiber towels instead of using old cotton towels.

Ed that is a great score. Will you be at least starting it? I would be interested inhow it fires etc. And don't pay any attention to the negative comments here and on pelican. Just thank you for sharing I would love to find a car like that and would probably do the same though have it a runner

you gotta let me know when you have time also how is the 930 coming ? Just curious as I would love to be in your spot for a few days. you may want to contact PCNA to see if they have interest in your 930 it may be the most perfect example for them to show

It's kind of a historical thing - back in 1979 Porsche decided to stop selling the 930 in the USA because of emission issues. They made a big deal over the final 50 930's for 1979. The '79 I own is #1200 - the last one of the 79's imported to the US. It went for a huge premium over sticker when new and was bought by some collector after a fair amount of legal wrangling by several potential buyers, all of whom put down a deposit.

Long story short, Porsche "discovered " catalytic converters, the emissions problem was resolved and they started importing the 930 again in 1986, thus dealing a significant blow to the buyers of the last batch of '79s, especially the guy who paid up for #1200. I bought it in 1988; at that time many Chicago-area porsche afficianados all knew the story of the "last 930".

THey aren't 928 seats, not even early seats. Those are something else. Could be a modified early 928 seat but someone did a god-awful recovering job on.
