Trying to decide which electronic boost controller to choose.
My application: 79 930 K27S / TiAL 46 w/.8 bar spring / Andial longneck IC
Please share your opinions, pros & cons on which make/model electronic boost controller or aka electronic control valve should be chosen.
Thanks

This is all i have heard people using.
Ebay is the way to go. The new ones seem to have alot of bells you will never use.

For me simple is better
I have had an e Boost which was really good but complicated to use. The HKS and Greedy are worse english tranlation from Japanese LOL
I now have a Tru boost from AEM
Very easy to use easy to see 2 programs easy to change and works well.
See Pic.

I had a Greddy PRofec that made me feel like I needed to be a Japanese rocket scientist to install it. It stayed in the box for the next buyer...
If I install one, it's going to be a manual one.

A hallman manual boost controller with a ceramic ball for perfect response time works great. It cost like a hundred bucks and took five minutes to install. Optional long cable to reach interior for on the go boost dialing.
Very unlikely to fail I would think, no gimmicks.

Question about your Hallman.
I was wondering if it is temp. sensitive. I have one in the engine bay and if it is 50 out i have to adjust it if it is 70 out i adjust it again (.8 - 1.2 variance)?
I am constantly playing with the manual one. Does your Hallman do this?

As far as I am aware, a electronic boost control has virtually no edge over my set up. But in theory I suppose somebody can come up with something that the electronic does better, I just don't know what it would be.

I use a turboX with a switched second setting. It is a mechanical valve with a solinoid actuated second high setting. I use a red guarded switch for the high setting and it has worked flawlessly since I installed it two years ago.
