spacer size for front tires
My car is a 83sc cab. I have turbo fenders on there. I was recommended by RH rims to put a 225/40/18 tire on the car. Know that the flare is on there I need a spacer to move the wheel out more. Does anyone know how many mm or what size spacer I need so it looks right and does not hit the outer lip of the fender. I was told the front rim is 8" wide. Thanks John

Without knowing the offsets of your wheels and what year 930 front struts or 911SC front struts are on your car it is just a wild guess.
I know that if you put 18x 8" 996TT 50mm offset front wheel with 225/40x18" tires on a late eightees 930 you use a hubcentric adapter that is 1.5" thick. A 1.25" thick one would probably work too but may or may not rub on the inner fender well at full lock.

I know I have 1.5" spacers on there now and I have 215/40s on there and they dont rub at all. If I go to a 225/40 it will rub the out lip of the fender. So maybe 1.25" will do the trick? I dont know the offset. They are rh 3.6 look rims 3 piece. The struts are upgraded but are upgraded sc struts. I looked at the space between the tire and the strut and I have at least 2-3" clearance if that means anything. Thanks John
