My man...The Baron...You've asked a good and fair question but when this topic came up on the 7TT forum it really got ugly really fast. The answer was very complicated. My conclusion is to look past the Made in the USA claim and assume Global business model...

Thank you for the compliment. To answer your question: Yes all of the designing and research is done here in Fort Washington, PA. All of the cutting and bending and assembly is also done here in house. Anything casted is outsourced simply because we don't have the resources and machinery to do it. I don't know the actual location of where the collectors or other casted parts are outsourced from because its proprietary, but I do know that it is the same company that fabricates like parts for competitive racing vehicles.

A week has passed since my posted question with no response from Fabspeeed even though they have posted on other threads and forums so one can only assume that you are correct.
Regarding the "Made in USA" vs "Made in China" debate; I don't care how much I like a (any) product, I won't buy something that is made in China if I have viable alternative made in USA or Europe. This goes for tools, clothes, shoes, supplies, etc... there are plenty of options in most purchasing categories. Most of these alteratives cost more but you get what you pay for !
As a small player in the manufacturing sector, I am painfully aware (as are most) of the blantant differences and severe shortcomings in the quality of metals coming from China since most of it is low-grade recycled American waste.
This and virtual slave labor are two of several reasons that Chinese made products are cheaper than their American and European competition.
It's a shame really......... for us and them !

^As you know...I am not gonna argue with you..
But with global sourcing and manufacturing, etc...You just never know.
I recently bought a six Made in USA Strong Hold cabinets for my garage...12 gage, welded, powder coated, each weighs 550+ lbs....I will pass them on Igooz Jr and beyond. Overkill for a Residential garage...but that's what it's all about...

I appreciate enthusiastic vendors and marketing promotion but when I read
"Much stronger, better quality and guaranteed to be the finest quality in the Industry" in reference to a 304SS header product, wellllll, I'd say this really cannot be true considering there are superior material 321SS constructed options available. My next headers with heat are going to be 321SS because every 304SS set I've ever owned eventually develops fatigue cracks.

I just had a lovely fellow by the name of Peter in the UK install our Sport Headers and Maxflow Exhaust. He send me some feedback that he offered up to share with the 930T community, so without further delay here is his review
"John,good evening.
First of all may I thank you for all the interest and endeavour that you have shown to me as a single punter amongst all the business that Fabspeed must do,and how helpful this has been during my fact finding tour into which replacement exhaust system would be the best for my 930 Turbo Targa. It has been incredibly helpful and reassuring. In addition,I would like to congratulate Fabspeed for all the info and images that they make available including the brilliant clips on U tube that show the rationale behind the construction of the system, the materials used, and the acts construction process.
The exhaust is exquisite. Beautifully designed and made. Almost over engineered,it's perfect. The boys thought thought that it cost twice what it did and it fitted perfectly. Boost for Fabspeed to quote PGWoodhouse!
In conclusion. I love the new system to bits. The turbo spools up so much more freely and easily and performance feels so much more lively and crisp. The sound is stunning. When I floored the throttle above 4000 revs it was unbelievable. And it looks fantastic..... If you ever produce a transparent valence, let me know."
Here is some additional feedback from Peter posted on our website few days later.
"Champagne product on beer money.
What a beautiful system for a 930 Turbo. Thank you Porsche for making a replacement system NLA! Thus I was forced to look elsewhere. After much homework I went for the Fabspeed and I was not disappointed. Lovely to look at,solid, beautifully made, and it fitted like a glove. Sadly, all discreetly hidden under the rear valence. When used quietly there is a gentle burble. When angry the car howls as a 911 should. Performance and responsiveness appears significantly improved and the classic turbo lag has almost disappeared. I love it."
