Smile Tips for buying a 2001 TT

HI

I am considering buying a 2001 Twin Turbo and would like some advice.

The car has had a speedometer replaced to mileage is inaccurate but could be around 69,000. The interior and exterior look OK and is pretty clean overall. It has new tires from the Netherlands? CARFAX shows mileage not accurate but no accidents. The car does not have a maintenance history, but seller said clutch was replaced within last 3000 miles.

There is a Porsche dealer nearby, and there is a local shop that services my 993.

Thought or advice?

thanks in advance.

Herb

Yes- i agree.

I will continue to look. The price on this at $43K was interesting. BUt without the history, it is easy to run into some very big expensive repairs.

thx!!!
