Default Looking for info on pre i/c Turbos '76/'77

I'm looking for any good information sources for pre-intercooler turbos....'76/'77. If there is a good book out there anyone can recommend or articles they've seen in mags, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Paul Frere's 'Porsche 911' makes the best home owner's type guide to Porsche models. It is essentially a technical write up on every 911. While it does not linger on any one model, it will cover all the changes made between models. So you know every upgrade that happened.

The book is fairly thorough with 1976 and 1977 info. It will tell you how the turbo differs from the SC and then how the 1976 is the start and the 1977 adds stuff like vaccum assisted brakes.

It talks about all the compnents of each car, suspension, aerodynamics ect...You just need to read the different chapters about each car, it is not like all the information is in one page.

This is considered a bible. Just get it. Get the newest version because he keeps adding info every couple years.

And if you need more info, this will still be an awesome book.
