Which exhaust?

Collective impressions seem to indicate that for power, B&B are the best and for quality, GHL's offerings are the best (in regard to headers).
I'm not sure if the same holds true for the exhausts (power wise), but I would think that they are probably 6 in one, half a dozen in the other.
I have GHL headers and exhaust and am very happy with them.

With the B&B system do the stock heater hoses fit on the headers. Do you have to eliminate the air injection system due to oil line relocation. Does the muffler fit into the factory bracket. Im looking for a system that fits properly without a bunch of modifications.

I decided on the Fabspeed Dual system. I wanted sportscar sound, but not too loud for city driving. I'll post pics as soon as I get it back from the shop. Also having tensioners updated, lowering, 1 bar boost spring and oil change.

+1 for Brian's stuff (RarlyL8) - I put on his dual-out this summer and am loving it. Bang for the buck is incredible. Coupled with the WG snub, the sound is other worldly. The dual outs when not cracking the WG have a real mellow burble - almost maritime vessle like. They hit the note spot on IMO.
The materials quality and welds are incredible, and like I said for the $ it's pretty appealing. Brian's great to work with as a bunch of others here wil also attest.
HTH, good luck.

I don't have a sound file and I think the B&B web site only have dual out audio files. I do like the sound of the exhaust....nice rumble at idle and at full throttle, before wastegate kicks in, it has a nice GT3-like sound. The dual out muffler did have an annoying resonance drone at around 3K RPM. I don't know if B&B has fixed the problem since then. I have the header/muffler system for about 6 years and now will have to have the headers off to fix some leaks. Never tracked, btw.

Paul: I'm with you...I also put on a Tial 46mm wastegate and RarelyL8's snub, and the sound is fantastic. Unless someone sees the quality of his TIG work and designs, you can't really appreciate it.

I agree, very nice looking work. FWIW, I have the B&B headers, but Fabspeed exhaust. The Fabspeed is very well made (can't say it looks as nice as the welds above), sounds great under WOT, not too bad at all around town. It has a real nice "crackle" upon lift while in gear.

The photos that JFairman post #15 are the exhaust system on my car. It is Bob Holcombe's specialty. The entire system including turbo and oil collector is from Bob's shop MODE Fabrication. It is a bolt on system and I absolutely love the performance of this system. I think that Bob is one of the best in the business. The heat is not as strong as stock but it sure keep me warm when temperature is around 30F. I don't drive my car in the winter so the heat is quite adequate for me. As for NathanUK comment, are you referring to turbo oil collector? I think this is what you are referring to?

That looks good, I take it the right hand side hose is a vent.
I was actually referring to the headers merge collectors. The heater boxes are hiding them! It's the part where the 3 primary tubes merge into 1.
