How accurate would this unit be? I'd like to have a piece of 935 on the car, but it would need to functional

That is a nice gauge, however the only thing I have against those types of gauges is that they can be a bit distracting, especially when driving at night. I prefer the standard needle type with the telltale reset function. It would appear that "222" is hot for that gauge and will probably get it.

I agree with Chuck. Imagine driving at night and running through the gears to red line in each. It would look like the fourth of July in China town!

If the other reasons didn't put me off then this certainly has, I could have lived with it if it was accurate, i guess it would be no more than an ornament otherwise. Cheers for the response

My DP car has the same one. I saw it a couple days ago and bid on it for a spare but at $407.11 it didn't reach the reserve.

If it came with the correct sender then it was worth much more than the reserve price.

My experience with those guages have not been very good.

I have the standard 935 guage in one of my 935's and in the other an aircraft guage was used... kind of cool so I kept it since it has been there almost 30 years

In my grandfather's 930S slantnose has one from the factory and it looks really cool but I am not sure how accurate it really is.

I'm using this guage from North Hollywood Speedo in place of the clock...of course its being redone in red and black but if you're looking for a boost guage this is a reliable solution.

NHS doesn't have a tell-tale and that's, IMO, a necessary bit if you've got a modded car. Need to know if you are going past desired boost. And, no, don't think its wise to try and look at boost gauge while legggin it.

Best boost gauage I've seen I posted on here somewhere under "Best Boost Gauge Ever"...may be on 964T or 993TT forum as well. But there's a guy who can put in your speedo or clock or wherever a window w/all the info you want including AFRs, etc. If I could do it again, that's what I would have had installed. I've got an OE VDO w/tell-tale and it works fine.

Ahh I see your point, I max at 1.5 so it will work fine for me, but for the 1 bar guys, I can see where that could be useful .
