Well after 1 year and 1 month my 930 is where I imaged it would be from day one. I searched and searched for the best one I could find and I feel I did very well with this 86 Slate Blue metallic.
The first thing on the list were the 3.6L wheels because when I first laid eyes on them in 94 I said, if I ever get a Porsche these are the wheel I must have. My plans from the beginning was to update it to the 964 look, some say why didn't you just go after the 964? I didn't want to deal with any issues that might come from the extra options like air bags/ABS and so on.
I pulled all the stock exhaust/heat exchangers and air pump and added GSF headers with Fabspeed exhaust, Fabspeed air intake, 964 mirrors, H4 headlights with Hid's a set of custom color matched sport seats.
One issue I did run in to was trying to match the factory color for the bumper it took over a month to get it very close, this is the factory paint and we are talking about 22 years so I'm pretty happy with it.
I want to thank Better Bodies for their kit and all the help they gave me.
This is what I started with...

That's a beautiful car, both before and after.
Don't know if you'd like to consider changing the rear lights and reflector for the 964 one.
You've made an excellent job of the updates/upgrades.

Bernie,
Great looking car! I'm in the process of doing the same thing to my rear bumper. Have you installed a heat reflector? If so what did you build it from? How about the OEM bumper struts? Did you use the at all with the new bumper? I love those wheels too.

Thanks guys... I'm keeping all the old parts, sorry. The seats are made by Cerullo www.cerullo.com I did have a set of 964 tail lights but they needed to much modification to fit so I passed. The rear bumper is just bolted to the fenders and center section with no reinforcement. I installed sheet metal around the turbo and the back side of the bumper. I'm also going to add thermo wrap on the side sections of the insides of the bumper.

That is one of the nicest color combos I have seen....ever, and the wheels are simply the best.
You just need to fix that front smile.
