Default Help to find a 78-81 Porsche 930

Hi.
I`ve been looking for a 78-80 year 930 for quite some time. Are there any out there that has any tips, it would be appreciated.
I would like on that has been keept as much to the original condtion as possible.
If not it has to be a "project" with all the original parts.

Thanks a lot for any help,
Regards,
Roar Olsen

Hi Roar,

Mine is a 1978, but unfortunately, I love it too much to part with it.

Hi.
I do currently live in Norway, but do frequently come across.
Where is this one?
Do you have any more info on it, what is the millage and so forth?
Does it have any service history?

Thansk for your reply. I does not help a lot, though I`m not interested in a cab

Good luck with your car and if you know of any other it would be nice

Hey Roar-

I have a local longtime Pfantatic bud that's considering parting with his '79. Guards over black, think sport seats. Has ~ 110k on it, but recent $10k engine build, K29, Koklen I/C, twinplug, Electromotive, port / polish, clutch / exhaust, etc. Car runs amazingly strong, and looks good from afar. Paint is drying up but body is nice - maybe a 6.5 overall. Interior is maybe a 7.5. Dunno, maybe I'm being too hard on it - again from afar it looks real good. Front end is squirelly under braking, likely needs to be rebushed.

I'm not sure, but I *think* he's looking for $24k. We're in Connecticut - shoot me an email for his contact info. Here's a shot, his is to the right, mine far left:

Do you think a full-repaint in black would ruin the resale value? Everything else about the car sounds great but I'm just so fixated on getting a black one.

Hi.
I have not found the car that I`m looking for yet, but I would like to thank all the ones that have replied and tried to help out. I do hope that we have some more post coming so I can find the car that I`m looking fore. Have had a conversation with Robert at Victorymotorcars, but I did not get the good feeling.
Hope to have some more cars for sale?

regards,
Roar

how much will you be asking? Is the car stock if not what mods. I have been looking for one and may have found a 79 more locally with 72k it has the k27,bb and extensive torsion bar and suspention upgrades. Its red but black would be preferable Ryan W
