Default Need Help on Transmission serial number for my 930

Hello all,
I am in the process of requesting a porsche certificate of Authenticity for my 1981 930. So I needed to send all of my car's information which are Chassis number, Engine number, Gear Box Type, Transmission serial number to them to check whether every particular part that i mentioned above is matching since the first day that car was out from the factory the or not. Only information that i can find now is Chassis number and Engine number of my car. My first question is where can I find the location of the Gear box type and the Transmission serial number of the car.

P.S. For my unstanding about the certificate of Authenticity, it will only confirm that the chassis number, gearbox type, transmission serial number, engine number and your exterior color is matching or not. My second question is how can i know what is the authenticity interior color and option that come with the car because my car already lose the identification tag that located on the driver side.

Thank you very much for all of your help
Nammon

Do you have the handbook? There is a sticker in there too.

I think the tranny number will be near the clutch omega spring.

On all my certs , to include many 930/911 turbos and a 934 , I just supplied the serial number and the factory came back with the rest including engine and trans number. Here is one of my spare 935 gearboxes but I beleive the numbers are in the same location .

The slot is where the clutch cable goes.
