Oh YES, indeed I bet she is very happy she did not sell. That car is probably the single best performing retirement investment in her entire portfolio!! but....
Unfortunately, the only way to realize $$ is to sell. And I am SURE she has realized how much she loves the car, and that it is a FAMILY car,... it came from YOU,... and that means more than greenbacks sitting in a bank account.
Her smile tells all.
So tell us,.... Is she still "shifting"? Is she still banging gears at 76? She looks GREAT!! I hope I am that spry & excited to own & drive at that age (I only have a couple decades to go! Lol)
THANKS for posting!! So fun!,.... and how did you manage to wait 8 years before bumping this thread back up to tell everyone??
Great Pics Btw,
=Steve

I didn't realize this was a necro thread at first. 26K! for it! I'll give her 30k no questions asked.
Everyone needs a cool Aunt.

the turbo and that 512....oh my. my oh my. visceral thrills, par excellence.
this is a cool thread and so awesome to see your aunt is a real "car gal."
oh and speaking from experience (regret, mainly), if you buy it from her or one day inherit it, never sell. who cares what it's worth in the market. its history makes it priceless.
