Glass Fibre. My car is 3.8RS style. Currently has Sparco Evo seats.

Nathan, the steering wheel in your car is on the wrong side! I hope you didn't pay a lot for it!!!

Haha, it's on the right side of the car for these roads around here

The colour is mean't to be 3.8RS style, some day I would like to get it parked next to a real 3.8RS and compare the colour but me actually ever seeing a real 3.8RS in that blue is unlikely as they are so rare. I've seen small pictures in 911 & Porsche World magazine of a real 3.8RS and it looked identical to me.

Good question...as I have bumpers off a 91 (black) Turbo looking for a new home.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nathan your car is amazing. And is that car just a 930 made to look like a 3.8RS ?
What was involved in fitting the bumpers and side skirts? Was there much modifications to be made or did it pretty much just bolt straight on?

OMG Jeff, what happened? Sorry to see that, I think im going to cry

Accident was a classic novice driver in a (fast) rear weight biased car. I was told he was going too fast and lifted in a corner and backed it into a pole (rear wheel took large percentage of the hit). Door and front fender took out some mailboxes. Fortunately the youngster wasn't hurt...but did learn a costly lesson. I figure somebody can use the motor as it was a low mileage, never run hard engine. I'm hoping to have the engine on the ground later today.

Off to the garage...

Default Done...

What I wouldn't give for a lift...but the motor is on the ground.

Back on subject...I've got a friend that has an 82 930 w the C2 turbo bumpers. I think they are the factory originals. I'll ask...

Thanks for that Jeff.
Ouch, yeh he learnt the hard way, that poor car So u bought it just to wreck and sell for parts yeh? Or do u have one of your own, A spare for parts is a great thing to have for one of those even if it is badly damaged, its still amazing what u can grab off it yourself thats useful thats for sure. I had a 928S a couple of years back and bought a wreck just for spare parts, then i sold my S to my Dad and 1 week later after the alternator all of a sudden decided to die he said ok how much for the wreck aswell, lol, a spare porsche for parts is a great thing to have, now if only I could find a cheap wrecked 930, yeh right, thats impossible to find here and cheap is absolutley impossible

Ya, a real shame. Car was a cream puff. Everything close to new shape. Oh well...

I did buy this for parts for mine. Over the years I've broken a few things that are hard to come buy. Right now my main priority will be to get the motor ready to sell. We're giving it a physical this morning (ie...a cold leak down test) and cleaning it up a bit. The rest will go to others so in a sense, this car will live on.
