I'm still running with a used K27 I bought a couple years ago...K27 7006, not a 7200. Although way-old technology, the K27 showed a marked improvement over the old 3LDZ through the entire power band. I can only imagine what an S or HFS would do.
Just need to talk myself into taking the plunge....
IIRC the 7006 was used on the 94' turbo S's or falchbau's and the 7200's on the 94 3.6T's. Kevin would know best but IIRC the 7006 was designed to be used with the more aggressive cams and had a better top end than the 7200's but less on the low end. I think you would find the HF is more like a combination of the 2. I also found my early HF worked far better at 1 bar than it did at .8. Other than suspension change the HF was one of the best improvements I made.
Do yourself a further favor and get B&B headers....at 1bar you will be at an easy 400FlyhweelHP
Yasin
Interesting. My 965 has a B&B muffler, no cats, B&B headers, a Tial with 0.8 bar spring and a K27 HFS. It's being rebuilt at present so I'll get it dyno'd at some point to check, but people seem to reckon it will develop somewhere between 360-380bhp.
I assume the extra 20-40bhp over and above my estimate on this 930 is coming from the 1 bar spring and intercooler?

0.8 Bar = 11.8psi.
1bar = 14.7psi
Each increase in 1psi = 8-10hp - rule of thumb, generally speaking
So yes with a bigger and better IC (which you luckily have) and the extra 4psi of boost you are flirting with 400hp.
