Default VDO Boost gauge that shows PSI...

... that would fit in the clock location of the instrument cluster? Looking to remain stock, would like black background, but really would like a newer, more accurate VDO boost gauge with a PSI readout.

Anyone ever gone down this road?

TIA.

North Hollywood Speedometer. They will custom screen a dial face to meet your requirements, may even stock what you are looking for.

What size is your clock? I bought a really nice 2 1/16 VDO boost guage that looks pretty damn stock. I'll attach a picture in a minute.

I don't recall what size the clock is in the 930 and am not near the car. Anyway have a moment that can throw a ruler on their clock? It's much larger that what would fit below the radio in a 944.

Thanks,
Matt

The clock face is 3". You might look at the Autometer 2 5/8" boost gauge. NHS makes a boost gauge to fit the clock opening also.
I've started making custom gauges as a hobby. Gets slightly involved installing a gauge in a stock housing and getting it to look right.

Checked NHS. They have the exact thing I want (guess nothing new under the sun). But for $225 + S/H + $42 for tubing???

That gauge can't be more than 30 bucks and the tubing... sheesh.

Guess I'll be making my own.

I just need this to come in 3" and I'll be set.... or maybe fab up a spacer...

~$30 + $8 for tubing. Tell them it's for a Porsche 911 Turbo and the price goes up 10 times. Geeze.

Check for another price on www.imagineauto.com for the same gauge and the install kit.
