God, once mine is done, I will daily drive it... no heat, no a/c, no sound proofing material, coilovers, rollcage, zork tube, etc, etc, etc.... I LOVE to drive the thing.. That is what I love about my car.. it is very raw.. no creature comforts... nothing.. just raw, pure, sportscar, ready for what ever get thrown at it!!!

To each his own, but I dont think I would be happy with a newer car.... If I did have one.... I would be ripping all of the stuff out of it....

an '87 930 with a G50 for $32K, sounds like a good deal to me!

Thanks for the inputs.

Hmmm. The heat here in Texas is a good point. I am not so much worried about the AC, but the heat on the engine. My daily drive is 35 minutes of which 15 is spent bumper to bumper. Wonder would that cook the engine/valve guides.

I also don't think the car has a cat. How hard is it to add one? Would that change the driveability of the car?

Lastly, are the mods listed reasonable? Meaning, is the engine a grenade?

thanks,
anthony

I don't think the engine's a grenade, but a daily driver might be pushing it.
