Need some help on an intermittent 'misfire', let me explain

I think the WUR is under the IC and slightly to the right of the centre of the engine.
Put an ohm meter across the terminals and make sure you have a resistance (it has a heater inside it). Also make sure that it gets 12V to it when the engine is running.
To get more technical with it (unless fuel is gushing out of the vent that goes in the air cleaner assy) you need pressure gauges hooked up to it and check them with figures set out in the workshop manual.
