Default pricing help please

I have been offered a 41k mile 89 Turbo coupe. car appears to be in above average shape. Some history but not a lot. Sat for two years now the car is going up for sale and the price is yet to be established. I know to get a PPI and all including leak down. Assuming engine has never been rebuilt whats a price range that is reasonable to expect. Really appreciate your help I did do a search before asking but no success. Thanks in advance

I don't have the Excellence issue handy, but my guess is $35K to $45K.

I think David's estimate is a proper ballpark figure. The lowish miles are tempting, but I'd also be a bit careful about the "sitting for two years" bit.

The PPI is a must. It's worth the $200-400 that most shops charge. Just make sure that the shop is of your choosing, not of the PO's. Try to pick a shop that isn't the regular garage that services the car in which you're interested. After all, they have built a relationship with the previous owner, not you.
