Looks nice what kind of lighting is that in there? Nice and cozy looking.

I replaced the open single bulb (contractor's "special") with 2 sets of simple "clean" track lighting. A mix of spots and floods.

How does that type of surface handle the oil drips that some of our aircooled cars exhibit?
Does it clean up easily?

Can't say from experience - I'm lacking an oil-dripper. But, as the sales pitch goes, you only need clean the surface with any mild detergent (Dawn-was mentioned) and rinse away. Plus, multitude of color variation from the stone could hide any stain, if it were stainable.

I worked at a motorcycle dealer that had that. The first time I put a 900lb Goldwing on its centerstand w/o chipping it I was impressed. That flooring is VERY hard. That said, I always wondered what happens if you spill any liquid on it. Specifically, I'm prone to spilling lots of oil from time to time, like that extra 4-5qts that find their way out when you're pulling an engine. Not only will you not be able to clean it out of the deep porous surface, but will the solvents in that oil eventually attack the resin?
