Jim,

There is another Petrol Blue turbo running around the DFW area. You might ask Al Zim (Zim's) as I believe the owner is a Zim's customer.

Deal with the shifter, valve covers and exhaust yourself some other time.

I think if you can get the car in the current state for $21k or $22k, you are in good shape.

I would argree with CT44 above...

- Agree that the price appeared to be on the light side for the work being done.. new exhaust would eat-up almost half of the 5K alone.

- Good luck on your price negotiations, hope it all works out...

Also, I would think that car to be Minerva blue as that was the "light blue" metallic offered in 79. Believe any other "light Blue" to be special order during 78-79 model year.
I know that the car is not Petrol Blue for sure.

In 1979 there were three metallic Blues: Petrol Blue , Light Blue and Minerva. The 930 that you are considering looks more like Light Blue metallic or possibly Minerva Blue metallic as Petrol Blue had more of a deeper Blue in it.

agreed. Petrol is a very deep blue. I believe I am looking for glacier blue or light blue metallic.

Can anyone point me to a 930 or even 911 coupe with this color in low miles?

Thanks,
Jim

wow from that picture the color and car look amazing. If you can work out the pricing then I would say go for it but not until pricing is worked out.
