I can not believe how hard it is to take the rear valence off!!!!!
Note to engineers please use hex head bolts in areas prone to road grime and oxidation. Phillips head screws are NOT my friend!

..and there are 2 more under the rubber bumperettes, and they have to come off to get at them.
It's easier to take the whole bumper off and then dismantle it all.
You could leave out the 2 screws under the bumperettes (if you want to be able to get it off easier in the future) then you can just slide it under them and fasten it with the rest of the screws to make it easier next time.

I replaced all of the philips head screws with socket head cap screws when I put mine together. It still is way easiers to remove the bumper first. especially if you still have the heat shield installed.
