Headlight Questions...look at mine!
I see they are E-code lights, are these what came stock on euro model 79' porsches??
Looks like the wiring harness was modded to me though....also the bottom light wasn't hooked up and I don't see any connections for it...I only have high beams, I thought my switch was bad but no it looks like I don't have wires going to the low beam.

Those are the desireable euro H4 headlights that our DOT never liked.
You should have low beams.
If the bulb is good and it's wired correctly and still not working there's fuses, hopefully a relay if one has been installed, and the hi-lo beam switch on the steering column could be bad.
Use a test light or voltmeter to see if you're getting 12 volts to the low beam terminal.
The seperate little 4 watt bulb that isn't hooked up is called a "city light".
You can easily hook it up to your parking light circut if you want.

that second bulb is not the low beam. That's the euro city running lights. wire the second bulb into the corner marker lights if you want them, or just leave it disconnected. You don't need them in north america. They are for european cities where you are not allowed to use headlights in the city. The lights will light up a bit just as a marker light.

Yes, regular 9004 bulbs work in them. The only caveat is that the stock headlight switch has to carry all the current, so don't go too crazy with the wattage of the replacement bulbs. If you want to go with higher rated bulbs then investigate one of the relay kits. They put relays under the hood to take the load off of the headlight switch.
