the spring is 5 psi spring which is about .3 bar bit it runs up to .9 bar not 0.9 with it full open. I did put the seat in correctly. the 5 psi spring was all i could get with that waste gate.

OK I have the answer thought I would share it with anyone who is considering getting an electronic boost controller. They are only deisigned to approximately double the boost pressure. so my spring is too soft for it to be able to control the pressure. they say that after the pressure is doubled the spring is too weak and the pressure will occilate causing the waste gate to open at different pressures. So if you have a .8 bar spring and want to go to 1.0 or 1.2 they work great but if you purposly get a low pressure spring in your waste gate because you are going to put a Boost controller on it then dont get one any softer than half of your desired setting.

I bought mine used w/ 1500 miles on them, so was a little worried, but there's no creep whatsoever with a K27/HF. In fact, there's less boost overshoot than there was with a 3DLZ and factory RoW headers (which always used to hit 13.5 PSI and drop right back down to 12.5)

I think they modified them a while ago for the new higher-flowing turbos?

Thanks for sharing the knowledge in this thread. Based on what I've learned, I'm going to install a Tial 46mm this week with a 0.6 bar spring for when the wife drives the car and then have a 1.0 bar setting available on the controller for when I'm behind the wheel. No, I'm not a chauvinist, she herself doesn't want the beast fully unleashed whilst under her control (or lack thereof ;-).

Sure no prob. I am glad I was able to actually give out something helpful on here so many people here have been a big help to me during this build. you might want to call the support line for the company that makes the boost controller you are buying to see what low pressure spring they recomend for their particular controller. Mine is an HKS yours might recomend something different.

the guy at hks told me double was about the max a .5 bar spring may be on the edge of being too soft if your shooting for 1.0 bar

OK I put in the tial .8 bar spring and it fit just perfectly. the waste gate held the boost at exactly .8 bar which is great for an 80.00 tial knock off from E bay. I then turned on the boost controller and recalibrated it for a low setting of .90 and a high setting of 1.00 bar. It controls perfectly at both settings so now I have 3 boost settings .8 .9 and 1.0 . Additionally the other problems with high rpm miss, went away too since the boost is steady now. When i get the tagra top back next week I can start making more data runs with the lm-1 and get the fuel injection dialed in the rest of the way.

Thanks Ken, I will have to see how it goes for me.
It will be interesting to see how your AFR's are at the different boost settings with CIS. I wonder how it works out, this is something I will face.
