You could but there is no reason for it unless it lives in an environment that is harsh.

I have the filter in the same place so far w/o screen. Not been able to designe guard that allows adequate air flow. We are working on screen and will definitely use this as design input. Emulation is sincerest form of flattery!! I'll post pix of my design.

Fill me in on the specs again for this build to get those #'s.

We got our screen and tested it. The screen does resist water. It simply beads up off of the material. Here are some pics of the panel.

Jeff,

It depends on what else is done to the car at the same time or the mods present. Most do not just slap on an EFI kit they have either done things or do other things "while we are in there". It also depends on the year of car. For example the C2Ts we have to pull the tranny and modify the flywheel which ad cost, the 74-77 we have to lathe a different pickup wheel.

Most packages run in the 8K range from various tuners, some more, some less but this is ball park.
