Looks good for money, I have seen much worse for 22,000, If PPI good I would try for 20,000. I have had 2 86 model and 1 88, but I think steering wheel is correct.

Boxed rockers. Non-stock front fascia, it looks like.
How did you know the boost gauge wasn't working? Did you run the engine hard enough (with enough load) that the turbo should have kicked in? Not meant to be an insulting question. But just running at high rpms alone won't necessarily trigger the turbo to properly spool up.
Great green color. Looks very clean from your 3 photos. What does the PPI say?

For me, that is a really good price and the car looks clean and beautiful. I paid $26k for my 79 w/ 50k on it. The car won a local concours and is relatively stock with a rebuilt turbo, WEVO shifter and GHL exhaust. That kind of car just costs more in Hawaii.

If you get it and need A/C you will need to get a rotary compressor to replace the old piston one. It is a nice color combo but I would imagine that the front valance and box rockers are addons. Is there an oil cooler behind the front grill? That would be nice.

Those headlight washers are correct for 1975-1979 930. I agree with rudy on the valence and boxed rockers.
Thats a beautiful color. That looks to be a pretty decent deal if PPI checks out. I have 2 79 930's one being US and the other the Euro DP935.

I've seen that front valence around, but I don't know if it's a Porsche part, repro, aftermarket, Euro, etc. Is there an aux oil cooler behind the central grill?
The rockers may be aftermarket, or may have been added at the factory. Normally, only the slantnose models had them. But I'm sure someone could have ordered them as special wishes. At the same time, I'm not sure the slantnose bodystyle was an option until after '79 (so you couldn't have ordered the rockers back in '79). So good chance it's aftermarket. I'm not as familiar with the earlier 930s, so I'm sure someone can chime in on this chronological stuff.
Regarding the color, is that original? There should be a decal in the front trunk, on the inside of the passenger side wheelwell. It'll give the color & numerical code. Otherwise, are aftermarket bodyparts and non-traditional paint colors signs of potential fixed crash damage?
For Euro cars, it's of debate whether or not they're worth as much as US cars. Some say less, some say no difference, some say more. If you don't have a problem with it, then check with your car insurance carrier (and bank, if you're using a loan) to see what they say. Usually, if the car's already registered, the DMV won't have a problem with a Euro car. Silly question, but title's clean?
There should also be an options sticker on the underside of the front trunk lid. What codes does it list, as they'll tell with what options the car came.
When you get the PPI, mention the boost gauge thing to the shop. If you're willing to tell us where the car is located, someone can probably recommend a good (trusted) shop for that.

The main point to be concerned about with a "euro 930" is when was it imported and by who? There should be a tag attached containing all this information. Of course the best ones are imported when new and that is when their speedometer is changed to U.S. spec. mph from kilometer. I have seen a few though that still had their kilometer speedometer, possibly the owner had it reinstalled after the car was certified. So a used euro 930 could do many thousand kilometers in Europe, then get imported here a few years later and start off with a 0 miles U.S. speedometer.

pretty sure the boxed rockers are aftermarket, the factory ones were aluminum and had the side jack points extended. most after market box rockers do not have the jack point hole in them since it's really easy to have them bend and crush the rocker. It's my understanding that it used to even happen with the stock ones sometimes.
