personally big mistake. But hey each to their own. In the UK we have what we call RAT bikes. Don't ask me why but they look pretty good. On a Porsche turbo bodied or otherwise not in a million years.

Around here we have many "unfinished" ricer cars that have different colored parts probably from different wrecks with some carbon fiber sprinkled in. I would be afraid you might blend in with them too much. A Porsche is in it's own class and does not need to blend in with turbo hondas with guard rail contact stripes.

However, that is simply my opinion and to each his own. I really like silver (darker of the shades) on these cars. You hardly ever see a silver slant. It looks really good against the black trimwork. There is also the practical side, a black/black car is so hot in the summer.

I see your point DRV2FST... but there is NO way a 930 will ... nor could it ever just BLEND in with Hondas and other cars of that breed. 930's are just too damn badazz.. EVERYONE knows it's a 911 and not just one of the sheep in the bunch. a nice painted 930 looks great.. and sharp.. but a satin black 930.. just looks like it wants to beat your azz! and spit on you. ahahaha! maybe even just do it's bizz on ya as to mark you as owned! hahaha they really are mean looking IMHO. They are really do look like stealth bombers on the hwy..... and if they have a zork tube on them... and flat black.. well then just forget about it.. they give me wood! but.... it really is to each his own.

Thanks for the opinions guys - really gives me a good idea on the reactions I'll get when its done. As of now we have ordered and on the way:

993 mirrors (manual)
993 handles
DP extended tail
3rd brake light & rear wiper delete
935 front bumper with built in splitter
AIR GTR Rocker Panels
Getty Design flat race hood with no fresh air intake
2 small 4"x6" Naca ducts will be placed 6" forward of the rear of the hood about 8" apart to feed air to the AC with ducting back to the factory intake

And the exahust will be Swain coated White for contrast to the body.
