There is a easy way to see if the soliniod is working, if you have a wideband to ck A/Fs. When you get to the rpms that the chip is set for you will see a drop in A/F on your gauge. If you are not seeing a drop at the designated rpm your solinoid is not opening up. Sand_man is right. We have an electromotive ignition system. The MSD 8951 was designed to work with a distributor ignition. We have a crank fire ignition system. So we needed a different module.

I would like to say sorry to Brian. He called me today. I got a message on my phone. I was alittle fustrated with my situation and like to know I can get in touch with a company right away. Anyway Brian I got it all figured out and am doing the fine tunning now. thanks John
