no it wasnt B&B it was powerhause, the have them made there in phoenix someplace. the one on the pics of course wouldnt fit so i sent it back and they had a new one made with angled fittings and no end plates for mounting, very good customer service, no extra charges even though i was the one that ordered the wrong type of cooler. If i remember they also were quite a bit cheaper than the b&B and it came with all the hoses I needed

he had to have the angled one fabbed someplace, because it took quite a while the place that was making them had to finish a production run (probably for B&B) before they could make mine. the difference was the B&B kit i dont think had the hoses and they were making no promises of anything over the phone. this guy sent hoses and guaranteed it would work ok. A promise he made good on and Ithink it was less expensive than B&B also but dont remember for sure

Check out http://smartracingproducts.com/pdfca...ngine_fuel.pdf.
On page 4 and 5 it has great info for an oil cooler setup. Smart Racing Products will put together a complete kit for you. They even sell a sheet metal piece that goes behind the oil cooler to help the airflow out. It requires some cutting and welding.

Looks like Smart Racings oil cooler is made by JB Radiator Specialties. A Google search found the site, but they don't mention the oil cooler. http://www.jbradspec.com/
I was just thinking of a cheaper way of getting the cooler itself.

Elephant sells the same stuff including the metal piece to fit behinf the cooler. I got a chance to pick it up and look at it at the Ventura Pcar show and it was of a good quality. They also sell all of the fittings and the correct size core for the cooler. Beware of vendors selling small diameter core coolers because the oil flow will not be sufficient to take advantage of the new system.

If you are still looking for just the front mount oil cooler itself. I have a used one for sale. Just was taken off my 86 930 and kept it cool with 500whp. Never had a single issue with oil temp at the track either. Would make a solid deal to you. PM me if interested.
