Pinhead? So now you go on name calling. I'm out of this conversation since you brought it down to the junior high level. Have a nice day.

Was the engine tray on? we don't have blocks around here in the desert, and no deer, just camels, and they hurt if you hit one, problem is our race tracks have speed limits.

Communication problem.

yeah.. I don't approach the top speed of my cars either... seems I have this problem with too much pedal left but not enough road!

Sorry, this one ain't a turbo!

I had a friend who tracked his targa. The top would balloon up at any speed (we called the car Beluga). He eventually took the top to a targa specialist who rebuilt it, after which it was fine. So I would take the top to a targa specialist to see what they say.

I hope you're kidding about the track speed limits .

the top does need rebuilt. it also has the new thicker gasket. which i think allows the wind to get under it.since it sits higher, also made adjusting the windows really hard to get everything to seal up. I need to get this figured out before i go to the track with it I'm afraid someone will get hit with it if it fly's off. I think pca requires you to have the top on for DE's dont they?

So what do you guys do at the track to keep the top from blowing off. I'm a little concerned that might happen. if i ever get the dmv crap straightened out i'll be taking it to sebring in July

Sounds like my road.....

Yeah, I'd watch out for those camels if I was you.

I think it is all relative..there are plenty of places where I see 55mph through traffic create way more of a danger than your 150mph. Personally I would like to see more enforcement and higher fines for unsafe lane changes, following to closely, aggressive driving, etc. Those idiots cause way more wrecks than your average adult stretching it on a long straight.

The 150mph sounds shocking, but I think you'll encounter much more "dangerous" driving on your way home tonight.

Yes traffic in town here is scary aparently there are no such thing as turn signals anywhere in cuba or mexico. I also think the law there requires you to drive 20 mph below the speed limit in the passing lane while talking on a cell phone.

No, you can run without the top (at least in every region I have ever run with). I would get arm restrants tho (assuming you have harnesses & proper seats)
