Default Billet Design's throttle body adapter...

A while back, (3 yrs ago now) I bought Marco's adapter plate that allows you to bolt an aftermarket throttle body (normally for a Mustang) to the 3.2 intake.

Does anyone recall which throttle bodies work with this plate???

I'm probably going to get an AccuFab unit...

Unless you guys have other suggestions...

My current 3.2 throttle body, the spring that wraps around the throttle plate shaft is broken, so I am snapping throttle return springs on the track (makes for an un-easy feeling)...

Brian

Could it be a F.A.S.T ? Accufab? Ford Lightning SVO? This is what I have seen mounted on similar cars.

I'm not sure Jean. I just remember that the bolt pattern supports a Mustang Throttle Body.

That's pretty much all I remember....

Take a look at the setup in the link below. It "might" be what you are looking for. I have not tried it on a 3.2L intake.. Next on my list..

The Marco adapter will work with any 86-93 Ford Mustang 5.0L throttle body...

Rocket:

The the larger TB is one option, I think the other option is being able to install another brand/make of throttle body that is readily available, whereas the stock 3.2 TB's are getting hard to locate (most people want to sell them with the intake).

So to me, that's the big thing, it creates "availability" of spare parts...

Absolutely buy either OE Ford (if they make one big enough) or accufab. The other out there are cheaper, but they will whistle and sometimes bind. I used accufab on my IT-E mustang.....

Sorry - I have a pic tho. Would that help?

Besides being cheaper, they are extremely easy to hook up with the stock bellcrank.

Pic would be nice if you've got one.

I don't use the stock bellcrank. I have a custom cable running through the cockpit to the engine bay. It should still be pretty easy to hook up though....

If you've got a pic, I'd appreciate it Don.

Thanks,

Brian

Here are some pics. One shows it without the AL elbow welded on, and the other simply mounted. Is there something specific you would like to see?

Thank Don.

Just one question, why did you weld the elbow to the TB????
Just curious.
