Yes...there are a number of places to go....Ben Salerno's..."Salerno Auto Sports" in Rocklin...Frank's on Folsom Blvd in Sacto'....there's also Niello Porsche (only Sacto' Porsche dealership) off Rocklin Blvd in Rocklin, Schatz and Krum in Sacramento...and a few others.

After I wrote this I thought about it and recalled that Salerno owns two 930's himself...He's workded on mine and he also does a lot of high end stuff...Lambos, P-cars, Ferraris etc.

There is another fellow who comes quite highly recommended that I'd have to dig around to get a name on. PM me if you have any problems or need more info.

Thanks Chuck! I'll see which one to use if I get more serious about a car over there. It's kinda hard for me to check out the car as I'm in Honolulu and can't fly at the moment. I have heard of Schatz & Krum and didn't know they were in Sac.

When I looked at a Sacramento car a couple years ago, Salerno's and Frank's were the two places I came across for a PPI (I asked local PCA members which shops they used and trusted). Purchased another car, though, so never used either shop and no FHE.

WPO: If you want me to go take a look at the car, I'd be happy to do so for you. I could also arrange for the PPI since you're long distance....I personally know both Ben Salerno and Nick (Frank's son at Frank's Automotive).

I'd be happy to help out another Rennlister.

Thanks, Chuck! I'm waiting for some pics of the motor & interior before I take that step.
