Best mods for 3,0 turbo ?
Hello all,
a friend has bought a euro 930 w a 3,0 liter engine. Car already has a 965 intercooler, and a bigger turbo. Previous owner also deleted the heat exchangers, and there are also no cats. It also has a G50 5speed box installed. The car is very lethargic below 4000 rpm, and also has a hesitation "hickup" between 1500 and 2500. Boost is set to 0,7 bar. It pulls well above 4000 rpm. Any suggestions or ideas ?

How "big" a turbo is he running? The turbo might be too big for his application.
What's his state of tune like? Is the car a track only car, or street & occasional track?
What does his plugs look like? They can tell you a lot about how the engine is running/performing.

I would want the AFR's checked out. I would install a Innovate LM-1 or similair. http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products.php
