Default Rat rod alignment done!

Just got he back from Hairy Dog, love the ride height! Now to finish up fabbing the exhaust and onward to interior and paint! Ya think 315 R6's are wide enough?

We'll just call you MISTER steam-roller!

Looking good Gary. Sweet new shoes!

What are your plans for bumpers, rockers, etc? Or just leaving it rough?

GT Racing bumpers in the garage waiting to be fitted, no impact shocks. Rockers are not going back on, leaving it open. Also waiting are two Recaro SPG's, a Safety Devices cage, Appbiz RS carpets, RS door panels, and a new Momo "Race" wheel to cap off the interior. Of course she has nowhere near your HP (nor is it in the plans) but I am putting in a MSD 6AL, Blaster 2 coil, Leask adj. WUR w/RPM solenoid, and an Innovate LC-1 / XD-16 combo with wideband oxy sensor to keep her tuned and running properly.

Nah, sold my 93 964 to finance (most of) this project. Considering I am doing all the labor myself it's not as bad as it could be. The suspension/brake work itself would have been about $10K labor to have someone do the restoration work i've done so far (on top of slapping new parts on). This car was on the brink when I got it and when i'm done it will be one helluva nice track car for about $30K +/-...

Here is the front end before reassembly... all polybronze, new tie rods, ball joints, 24mm Sander hollow, and every part bead blasted, primered and painted and after showing the Smart Racing anti-roll and Wevo Camber king shock tower..

They are 9" front, 11.5" rears and I haven't felt any rubbing. They were custom made by CCW for my car so I honestly have no idea of offsets. I only run 245's on the front as my race shop feels I won't get enough heat in 275's. They are installed (rears) without the factory spacers. and it has full track camber/alignment (I *think* 2.8 degrees front, 2 degrees back).

Looooooking good, Lucy !!!!!!1

Looks great Gary. You're going to have one mean-looking and riding track machine when finished. Can't wait to see it in orange. I LOVE that color on old Porsches. Sweet build list!

Are you running any bump steer kit in your Yellow car, or think you'll need one here? I installed one and like that it's not as darty with bumps. Of course the -3 deg camber sort of ruined that feeling.... but it's sweet on track.

Nice work! That black paint makes all your new toys and work just POP!

Take some of that left over cash from the sale of the 964 and use it to replace that 180 degree muffler.

Leftover cash... you're a real funny guy! Want me to send you $17 to pay for the (obviously) too expensive Rennlist subscription?
