Clutch pedal – feels crunchy and sticks

I printed the picture and took it under the car with me. You'll have to snap the spring and arm in place once you have it lined up. That's one thing people forget.

i did the same still screwed it up wondered why it was so much harder than the other car

Finally got the new clutch cable installed and am happy to report the crunchy clutch pedal is now fixed!

Guess it turned out to be the cable, when I removed the old cable and grabbed one end of it and
pulled, it reminded me of pulling a chain out of a barrel over the lip.

Still have to install the new D-Assist spring and properly adjust the clutch throw but that will come next weekend.

Cable was not hard to remove and install:

25 min to get the old cable out
35 min to install the new cable
2 1/5 hours to get the dam locking pin through the trunion at the pedal assembly

Buy a telescopic mirror, it is your best friend along with growing more joints in your fingers

Hope this helps any owners that have the same symptoms!
