Good luck and I think you're on target for price. Pics please.

Anyone that pays that kind of money better damn well be an expert on the car he's buying. When I hear the name "Sloan" I get agitated because he is in my state.. he acts like he is some sort of collector whereas he is nothing but a used car salesman looking to capitalize on "us".

Someone just asked for the address. I wouldn't use his site as a price guide either - but I like to look! He has a sweet 356 Carrera2 right now - and I've been leaning towards a 356 as my next Porsche. Not that I could ever afford a Carrera but...

After reading what has been posted I have realized that the turbo is worth more to me than it would be to any one else. I guess I should start hunting for that original Carrera wheel I have been thinking about and saving up for that $1,000 clutch kit. The car does drive nicely and the heat works great for Washington winters (i.e. the defogger works).

Sloan may ask too much, but if I was going to sell a low mileage Porsche which was close to stock, I might try him in order to maximize my profit. I don't know if he would be interested or not, having never talked to him.
But I would check that out long before parting with a near stock, low mileage 930 for less than $25,000.
For 25 grand, you are right in thinking about just keeping it and driving it. You can fix or modify anything on the car to your heart's content and make it just as fast as 99% of the new cars out there. You can drive it in most weather conditions.
My wife paid 25 grand for a minivan. I'd rather have the Porsche. I'd enjoy the hell out of it.

I think for a 77 with a respray that's cracking, been sitting, needs a clutch, oil leaks and god knows what else you're probably in the high teens at best.
I'd still keep it. Once sorted, they are fairly reliable and make are GREAT highway cars. They're a bit of a let down in the city due to lag.
Just my opinion.
