Just been informed that delivery will be in Jan, not what i wanted to hear, i will just have to exercise some patience, something I'm not very good at!
Ag02MS, I'd be surprised if the chap in question can get the fuel he needs too from what has been said. He's not simply throwing 3.4 cylinders on there and a K29, he is doing most things you'd expect to see with a full EFI build, balancing, porting, flame rings, race ware studs and bolts etc etc... He was at 475bhp and 1.2bar when one of his cylinders split (apparently nothing to do with the high boost level) and he still had fuel in reserve? It kind of goes against the accepted knowledge of what is possible fuel wise, we'll see what happens when he gets it back together. The BHP we are talking about is at the crank BTW, and the 475 figure was when it was 3.3ltr

There's a 928 owner who has installed this on his car, and posted about it over on 924board.org. He's been running it for a few weeks now, so you might be interested in taking a look at these two threads:

I cancelled the order, he told me that he hadn't charged my credit card when i placed the order, to be honest i've never checked to see if the money came out or not, i'll look through my bank statements. I'd be very surprised if the PT model is ready, the other models were available before, he offered me one to tide me over, i didn't quite understand how it would work on a turbo motor but he seamed the think so, by that point i had lost interest as i didn't need it anymore.
I still think it would be a fantastic unit if it does what it says, i have the program here on my computer so you can see how you would program it, it has a few glitches which he assures me would be ironed out before the unit was available.
The thing is my engine blew up because of a faulty WUR, i couldn't even begin to describe the agony of seeing your engine detonate, i'd like to see one of the main tuners get one fitted to a car and see how the thing performs. The Brian Leask WUR and solenoid gets your fuel pretty much spot on, and it's mostly mechanical, it's certainly the safest bet. As i've said though, if the PT unit does what it says and does it reliably it'll be bloody marvelous

I tried to set parameters with the software and had problems with it not keeping the paramaters I set.
I agree with Jonathan, if it does what it's meant to 100% reliably then great. If not...

I got the distinct impression that the turbo version is not quite ready for prime time. Apparently the other two versions are available, and according to epsylon, he had no problem loading his program into the WUR itself. Maybe the software doesn't retain info if it's not hooked up to a unit??? Dunno.
Perhaps a bit more patience is required for those of us that are boosting
Vaporware comment was pretty darn funny.

I tried to make what I thought was a "stock" file and also a "modded" file for Jonathans car so it could safely run over 1.2bar (AFR's anyway). IIRC I programmed up to 1.4bar.
It seemed when I saved the files and then tried to reload them the settings had changed. Apart from that the software was OK.
We definitley should be able to keep a backup file.
I tried the software on both XP and Vista.
