Chet,

Have you made any headway?? And have you read any of the threads on Innovate forums?? I am trying to find the thread that helped me so much, which sounds like where you are.

I went through the website briefly.....I also have been in contact with Stephen at Imagine Auto. I've put it off for a few days....gotta go to work. I'll get back to it this week.

Ok...so the new one arrived and I plugged it in to calibrate. Guess what? Nothing happened. XD-1 still showed the same -.-.- . Alright. Well lets check all the wiring and connections again. Everything checks out fine. Unplugged the new sensor and plugged the one I thought was toasted back in.
Hooked the laptop up to the LC-1 . I'll be damned....the laptop is showing that it works. I then plug the the XD-1 into the laptop thinking something must be wrong with it. It checks out fine. I connect the XD-1 and the LC-1 back up and everything works again. Dont know why hooking the laptop up made any difference. Didnt change anything, didnt recalibrate anything (outside of a free air calibrate before I reinstalled the sensor). Strange

I never used a laptop to calibrate or to do anythng with mine. You have switched power for the unit?

BTW. I thought their instructions for wiring sucked. I had to call to confirm and was treated like a maroon because I'm not an EE.

Chet,
I had the same problem...took several tries to be able to hook the computer up to either the LC-1 or the XD-1...but when finally was able to get connected..everything worked.

When I 1st hooked everything up..it ran & showed correct AFR #'s..then quit working the next day. I ended up having to change the default back to 14.7 gasoline...it was showing some crazy default #'s

but after I got hooked up to the computer all was well...don't know how or why it automatically changed its default....but all works fine now.

well for the last 3 weeks anyhow

Found a hand written sketch I made when I was wiring mine. Maybe it will help.

The ZEITRONIX ZT-2 looks quite promising indeed

http://www.zeitronix.com/Products/zt2/zt2.htm

Even comes with a 10ft long harness

The vendor tells me "The Zt-2 self calibrates the O2 sensor. There is no need for frequent user
sensor calibration".

So Chet, what happened? I'm looking at the LC-1 combined with the XD-16 gauge. Not that I need the high end capabilities of the XD-16. I just a) want a digital end to end solution - I understand the other gauges use an analog output from the LC-1 and b) kind of like the LED numeric and 'analog' display.

Mind you the new Zeitronix gauge (yet to be released according to the web page) looks like it would meet my needs too.

Well dang! I recall seeing it but didn't put 2+2 together. Apologies to all.
