Default WUR removal - tips?

About to remove the factory WUR and exchange it for the Leask adjustable WUR...

However, before I slither in there and unbolt that sucker and the attendant fittings, any tip for what to expect in the way of fuel, etc when removing/replacing?

Assuming you have a stock air box in there you will need to remove the intercooler and airbox in order to get at it. Other than that it is a simple R&R. Just be careful not to drop the little copper washers when you remove the nuts.

I consider the expandable rod with a magnetic tip as one of the handiest tools I bought. That's how I make sure those nuts and washers stay with me.

The amount of fuel is very little and having a clean cloth to soak up the fuel is sufficient...nothing major.

I thought the hardest part was getting the aircleaner back on with all of the hoses attached properly, other than that it was a snap.

Ditto on the magnet, I have one or more in every tool box I own, they have saved me many times.

The Evo cone filter helps a little with this problem: The two hoses at the back are no problem to put back on and also accessing the WUR is easier. Someone with better fingers than my arthritic ones might be able to get the WUR off without having to take the box w/filter off at all. I manage by taking just one of the two screws at the top of the box off and loosening the other so I can twist it out of the way.
