I would be more than happy to share the gory details of my transaction for my g50/50 with the board but it really isn't worth my time. I will say this though, he could take some lessons in customer "FRIENDLY" service. I dropped over 13k on my geabox and when it got to my engine builder the input shaft wasn't machined to spec, I called Jim and I took an amiable posture because I needed him to make it right, the arrogant bastard told me "I do not make mistakes." Long story short he did in fact make a mistake and took the transmission back only to hold my build up with further delays while trying to get a bastard part from on of his suppliers. I voiced my displeasure with the whole deal and he made things right in fairness to him, ok I AM RANTING NOW, no one should have to deal with that kind of garbage from a vendor. In the course of my build I have dealt with numerous knowledgeable people Stephen Kaspar, Todd Knighton, Chris Carroll, Marco Manzie, Steve Weiner, Geoffrey Ring to name a few, gentlemen all. It should be noted that while Marco, Weiner, Todd and Chris gave freely of their time I haven't bought anything from them although I felt very comfortable with them and I will keep them in my thoughts for future projects, the same can't be said for Jim Patrick. If Jim had some nuts he would give me a call and say look these things happen I am sorry about the "I DON"T MAKE MISTAKES" bit, he would regain my respect and we could move past it instead he had his office manager call me to inform me when the transmission shipped.
My Humble opinion I am not out to get anyone I have no agenda, I wish Jim the best and I hope I won't be needing his services again, that is I hope my transmission lives up to its billing. Oh and by the way Jim can nice, almost a pleasure to deal with but the ocassion was so fleeting I can't remember it.

Thanks. My thoughts are that if a company doesn't return phone calls or emails when you are considering a purchase, what chance do you have if you have a problem !
I have been bitten before with so called Porsche Specialist companies here in the UK.
