Engine rebuild begins...CIS fuel head pic and 2 questions - parts?
The one pic serves the two CIS fuel head questions:
1) Are the aluminum looking washers in the bag a good replacement for the copper coated (appears as so) washers?
2) Can one still get these teeny fuel filter looking devices which pop inot the top of the fuel head - direclty under the fuel lines? This one is pretty thrashed.
The fuel head is off to IA in exchange for a modified IA fuel head - !

I have the IA fuel head on mine. I used a combination of brass and aluminum washers that came in my engine gasket kit. I have no fuel leaks. As for those little filters, I didn't know about them, so I never bothered. I guess they'd be a good thing? I did drain my fuel tank and clean the screen that's on the fuel tank drain plug.
