Default Electromotive XDi wiring...let's keep it simple

I got my Electromotive XDi twin plug ignition kit from Imagine Auto last week and the wiring looks pretty straight forward. However, the directions are not Porsche specific and before I start messing with the wiring in my car I thought I 'd ask how others have done it.

For instance where did you tap into for an ignition switch source (key "on" key "off") for the main control module?
I also need two 12V sources, fused at 10 AMPS, for the DFUs (one for each DFU). What is the best place to obtain the power?

Do I need to make my own fuse panel with relays for this?

Thanks Guys,
Jeff

I suppose that I could always tap into the wires on the starter. Maybe build a small fuse panel to fit what I need...

I have my MSD power wire going to my starter, but I'm not sure it's the best place. Having a good wire going to the battery with a fuse would be best. My switched power is going to the harness that went to the old CD box.

I ran new wiring from the battery through the tunnel and took switched power fron the old CDI. quick, reliable and easy.

Doesn't Electromotive recommend going thru a 20 amp relay?
