How big of a tire can you put on a 10x17?....not interested in clearance issues, just want to know how wide you can go and still have a propper fit.

255 or 265 is OK, but can you do 275 or 285???? or will the side wall be compromised and not let the tire perform?

295, it will be a bitch to put on though. 285s fit just fine

285s will fit just perfect, 295s will hang a tad. you can go down as low as 265 if you want but its a paint to get the tire to bead and doesnt look or wear right.

id go 275 or 285
