Default CSI - How do you remove?

OK, I give up.

How do you remove the cold start injector without first removing the Air Meter Assembly?
I've cut down a couple of 5mm allen wrenches and lack maybe a half inch of travel to be able to loosten the top injector bolt.
Thanks

I just changed a cold start injector a week ago. I removed the air meter assembly. Its not that hard to do and it didnt take long either. Made the cold start valve R/R much easier. There are only 3 nuts holding the the meter assembly in place. You'll be there a lot longer trying to change the CSI with the air meter in place.

What about the fuel lines? Don't you have to crack and move all of them?

Yes, but it only took a few minutes to do and they come on and off pretty easy.

I think you only need to undo them at the injectors. Shouldn't need to remove the pipes. I covered my injectors with elec. insulating tape when I did this.

You know what, I read this too fast earlier. You only have to remove the lines from the fuel head and move them back some. You dont have to completely remove them. Sorry I didnt clarify that earlier.
