The ignition is wasted spark with:
M&W Pro-14 4 channel CDI (I'm only using 3 channels) controlled by the ECU
Six dual output M&W coils.

This should be interesting when the whole thing comes together. I have big interest in the ignition system. Please keep us posted. Good Luck!

Sam uses a dynojet and yes I know it's not optimum since it doesn't hold load. He said it actually does hold load but he doesn't use it, hum? Either way, Sam knows what he's doing probably better than anyone else in town, so I'm not worried about the dyno.

The Dyno Jet has a brake. What they do is run it up and slam the dyno brake on and try to load the cells. It is not a wise idea since it will overheat the brake. The brake was only designed to slow the dyno, not load up.

From what I could tell, Sam logs the data in the rpm area he wants to work on then filters out the data for the load he wants and makes adjustments. It not the way they taught in EFI101, but he makes quick work of it and gets a good looking AFR curve. I'm not going to argue with success

We did some more tuning today. It's still at 0.7 bar but it made 416 rwhp and 357 ft-lb torque. I think 500+rwhp at 1 bar may be within reach . I'm going to take it home tomorrow and get some miles on it before I turn the boost up and put it back on the dyno.

Good news! I'm sure you're excited to drive that hot rod now.

Here's the dyno printout of the last two runs at 0.7 bar:

Dang!! That's one sweet torque curve! And only at .7 bar?!
Congrats to you David

I guess I'll get back on my own thread for the update .

After changing the fuel system from running in series to running in parallel with fuel dampers on each rail and not getting any improvement in my lean side/rich side problem I looked at cam timing.

Sure enough, the right bank which showed to be too rich by the plugs, had the cam too retarded. I reset the cam timing and now both side's plugs show to be lean, but the lambda sensor shows rich. At least this problem is sorted out and I can take it back to the tuner for final tuning. It's a little too early to tell, but it seems peppier on bottom.
