Default 930 restoration

I am painting and restoring my 1980 930. I have found tech articles about removing the front and rear glass but I can not find any instructions or advice on removing the side quarter (FIXED) windows.

There is a black aluminum trim that goes around the window. It appears to be held together in the corners by an "L" shaped clip.

I haven't tried to pry on it yet to see if it pops off but if someone could give some advice before I do that would be great.

Thanks

Tom

I just had my 85 repainted and ran into the same problem, I didn't want any tape lines etc. To make a long story short, we ended up having to mask the rear side windows and just did our best not to have any lines. They did a really good job and only someone with a really trained eye would ever notice. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but if there's an easy way to do we couldn't figure it out.
