What Do You Guys Think of This 930?

sand_man: It is a completely stock 1981 Euro 930 with 60,220 miles. It has a DP front bumper. It supposedly has a new clutch, head studs and tires. It is registered in WA state. I am looking to purchase a house and so I might trade in the 993TT for this 930. I can always come back to a 993TT down the road.

Looks like it has different rocker panels on it as well. That color (although hard to tell from the lighting in the picture) reminds me of Nimbus Grey, used on the Audi TT. One of my favorite colors. If all else checks out okay and you like it, that's all that matters. I wouldn't pay a premium for the body mods or the aftermarket paint (if it has been repainted). I just can't tell the color...it also looks a little like Prussian Blue...I think that's the color I'm thinking of.

I like it. I could go with or without the stripe. I would have to see it in person.
I haven't kept up with prices, but I think $31k is a little high? The repaint, wheels, stripes, front air dam, rockers, etc will affect the price.

Totally dig it....except the stripes.....that I could do without.

I could live without the stripes. But, then again if the price was right I certainly could live with them! It's also nothing that a partial repaint couldn't fix.
I love the airdam and the BBS wheels. Looks like the back end needs to be lower though.

Ive watched 930 prices on ebay for 6 months and I think 31 is high, this is a euro model, nothing wrong with that but the market prices it down, and it has some body mods which limit its audience. 31 would be ok for a us model 86-87 with reworked turbo and/or intercooler, also these cars traditionally start looking at $5000 in repairs around this mileage. cnm

When thinking about price realize that this is essentiall a stock car and that coming from a 993TT it probably won't be long until you are deep into modifications. That being said it should still be a pretty big cash savings from the 993TT
