I'd say knock (pre-detonation) but I'd suspect you would have some other tell tale signs of that in the combustion chamber. Maybe it occurred close enough to the center of the piston and the resulting force of the combustion going against the "rising" piston was enough to temporarily halt the piston causing the rod to bend/twist a bit.
