18" wheels (done search)
I'm new to this forum and just purchased an 86' turbo (blk on blk).
The car has original Fuchs and has been lowered 1" all around by the PO but has its stock suspension.
I plan to purchase 18" wheels (fit 225/40 on 8.5s, and 285/30 on 10s).
My question is are there 18" rears available that will fit and give the deep dish appearance (ie, minimal or no spacers)?
I'm leaning towards the K58s or FM5s (like the 5-spoke look).
It seems the RH turbo 3.6 wheels have the proper rear offsets, but I was wondering if anyone has 18s that give that look. Please post pics if possible.
Sorry if I've missed this in my searches.
cheers.

Kenesis will build a set of wheels to your specs. I would go ahead and cram 235s minimal on the front (255 - 275 can be made to fit) and 295-315s on the rear if you are going to the trouble of having custom wheels made...

Kinesis 8 & 11
Purchased used off of a later model widebody(996TT or C4S). Using stock rear spacers, but need about 15mm on front. Tried a 28mm on front but it was a bit too wide and had a rub issue. If I need to re-sell, I have a bigger market to sell to and I can put the orignal Fuchs back on easily. Just remove the front spacer(adapter).

Thanks guys.
I'll contact Kinesis but don't want to spend too much on a wheel set.
I have access to a set of stock 2002 5-spokes off a 996 (10s on rears).
So you're saying that these rears will go right on with 930turbo stock rear spacers and fit well (what is the stock rear spacer size?), but the fronts will need 15mm or so?
thanks,
Jim

These are the 18s that came on mine:
They're SSR GT3s (three piece). I know they're not the look you were going for, just throwing them out there for reference. The previous owner put these on. My first choice would have been Kinesis K28s or BBS LMs. I have since put the black paddle Fuchs back on my car.

Keep looking at the classifieds here and at 6speedonline.com marketplace. There are frequently owners switching wheels from their 996 widebodies. Kinesis and Fikse are usually around $1800-$2600 depending on tire tread and condition.
