Default Question on Oil Tank Mod

I have taken the 3.2 out of my 84 carrera and installing a 3.3 Turbo. I plan to pull the 3.2 tank out, take it to a radiator shop for cleaning so I can drill a 3/8 hole and add the 3rd oil line needed for the turbo. I have a pic of a 930 tank and unless I am missing something I don't see it being a big problem. Any feedback would be great.

Maybe have the drilling work done to the tank first and then have it cleaned? You know, due to the metal shavings and stuff. Also, that oil line is threaded onto a "male" type fitting. I'm sure you knew this, and I'm sure there are many options for running that hose or creating a different one. I only mention it so that you are aware that there might be more involved than just drilling a hole. Any chance you could find a "real" Turbo oil tank? Even if it was a salvage yard special.

It really is just drilling the hole. Braze it on then have the tank boiled. You will be golden. I have done this many times.
